Like Facebook VK allows users to message contacts publicly or privately, create groups, public pages and events, share and tag images, audio and video, and play browser-based games. The site is translated in English, Russian and Ukrainian. VK is a very popular social network in Russia. In comparison to Facebook 8 million people visited Facebook in comparison to the 49 million people visiting VK in a month.
